Specifications include, but are not limited to: TARC is seeking for a contractor to conduct onsite transit bus pre-award and post award audits and in-plant production line quality assurance inspections at a bus manufacturing site. The overall goal for these services is to ensure that the rolling stock being produced is manufactured in compliance with 49 CFR Part 663, “Pre-Award and Post-Delivery Audits of Rolling Stock Purchases” regulations and 49 CFR 661 “Buy America” requirements; as amended by the “Fixing America’s Surface Transportation” (FAST) Act. These inspections also ensure that the vehicles comply fully with the specifications of the order, and ensure that each vehicle is free from defects. TARC seeks and intends to award a Fixed-Price contract for a term of 2 Years with an option to exercise three (3) one-year term for a total of 5 Year to the highly qualified contractor(s)and best value proposal.
