Specifications include, but are not limited to: SEMI ANNUAL FIRE ALARMS A. Clean all components of all systems. Smoke detectors shall be removed and either vacuumed or blown free of dust with compressed air. B. Check operational parameters of all systems. C. Measure power supply to components. D. Activate and verify circuits. E. Verify functionality of components of all systems. F. Exercise and scan command function. G. Verify displays, printouts and logs. Verify that all initiating device “addresses” are accurately labeled on the device and correspond to all system displays. H. Test/reset alarm/return to normal. I. Check for excessive electronic noise on transmission loop. J. Reduce electronic noise. K. Check for latest revision of executive software. L. Check for latest revision of Programmable-ReadOnly-Memory microcircuits. M. Check error indicator incidence level channel by channel. N. Reduce error incidence to acceptable level.
