Specifications include, but are not limited to: In general, the scope of this project will consist of a planning process that determines the future of the Old Schoolhouse Common building and grounds, taking into consideration the needs of the community with respect to the property, and development of an overall long-term plan for the property, to increase flood resiliency and lower risk of future flood damage. The outcome of the process will be: Identification of the source of the water continuing to enter the building, with a solution and cost estimate Identification of the other building repairs needed, with cost estimates Evaluation of future flood risk, and continued viability of the building in its current location as well as options for alternate locations Identification of hazard mitigation alternatives which could include building relocation or elevation, with cost estimates A site plan of the property illustrating the safest or most flood resilient locations for other infrastructure The draft and final reports will include all elements of this scope of work.
