Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tempe (“City”) is seeking a qualified firm to provide injury reduction training to the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department (“TFMRD”). As an “all hazards” department comprised of over 180 sworn firefighters spread across seven (7) fire stations, the TFMRD responds to various incidents, including fires, automobile accidents, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and technical rescues. Dedicated to the safety and well-being of the community, TFMRD actively promotes fire prevention education and fosters a culture of emergency preparedness for Tempe’s over 180,000 residents. The goal of this training program is to enhance firefighter safety, reduce injuries, and improve overall performance.
