Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Primary Service Model – ADA and Senior Transportation The RTC intends to award a single contract to provide for primary paratransit service which includes, at minimum the: ADA Paratransit Service Senior Transportation Service Non-Dedicated Services (NDS) Vehicle operations and Maintenance, call inquiry, scheduling, dispatching of dedicated and non-dedicated (NDS) services for the following: (a) ADA paratransit services (b) Senior transportation services (c) NDS service (d) Various support functions. (e) Local (IT) systems support. B) Secondary Service Model – RTC GoMed The Contractor will provide assistance in launching and developing the RTC GoMed Las Vegas Medical District Automated Circulator and Connected Pedestrian Safety Project (GoMed) project, a comprehensive mobility program aimed at improving transportation within the Las Vegas Medical District (LVMD). The LVMD is a significant area within downtown Las Vegas, covering 684 acres and housing critical medical facilities, clinics, offices, pharmacies, and educational institutions. Service details: (a) GoMed will utilize a total of four (4) accessible transit vehicles allocated for the service, with a minimum capacity of ten (10) passengers or eight (8) passengers if a wheelchair is on board. This includes three (3) service vehicles and one (1) spare vehicle. (b) Operators providing the service must undergo comprehensive training in both regular bus operations and specialized AV technology. Operators will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient transport experience for passengers, explaining the technology to riders, and taking control of the vehicle when necessary. (c) These vehicles will operate on public roadways alongside other traffic, with human operators on board to monitor the vehicle, assist passengers, and take control if necessary. (d) The service will operate from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. (e) The service will follow a fixed route, stopping at designated transit stops within the LVMD area and downtown. (f) The Contractor will be required to allocate a corporate project manager for a minimum of ninety (90) days prior to the launch and sixty (60) days following the launch of the service.
