Specifications include, but are not limited to: The 47th Ave S project is anticipated to include installing utilities and pavement along the proposed corridor of 47th Ave. S from Columbia Rd. to S 34th St. The South End Drainway improvement project is anticipated to include the installation of a 30-acre-foot stormwater storage improvement. 47th Ave S The required services for the 47th Ave S project include land acquisition for the 47th Ave S corridor (along the existing section line) from Columbia Rd. to just west of S 34th St. This includes land acquisition for up to three connecting streets. The City of Grand Forks will provide linework and cross sections as reference for the proposed improvements on the street corridors. Land to be acquired is expected to include permanent easements. Land acquisition activity may include, but is not limited to, survey, land valuations, negotiations, documentation preparation, and any other work necessary to acquire the land noted above. South End Drainway Improvements The required services for the South End Drainway project include preparing preliminary engineering layouts for a 30-acre-foot storage improvement. The location of the storage improvement is anticipated to be adjacent to the southern boundary of the South End Drainway and between S 34th St. and Interstate-29. The storage improvement is expected to include either a stormwater pond or an expansion of the South End Drainway. Consultant will cooperate with the City of Grand Forks to determine a proposed layout and location for the storage improvement. Once determined, the consultant will perform land acquisition services to acquire the property for the improvements. Land acquisition activity may include, but is not limited to, survey, land valuations, negotiations, documentation preparation, and any other work necessary to acquire the land noted above.
