Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. To tow vehicles involved in accidents and/or in need of repair in such a manner as shall be approved by the City/County. Time being of the essence in this contract, Contractor hereby specifically states that he shall dispatch a tow vehicle immediately and said vehicle shall commence removal as hereinafter provided within thirty (30) minutes of notification by the City/County. 2. To keep a minimum of six (6) tow trucks, minimally equipped with a power winch, two-way radio, ten-pound dry powder fire extinguisher, motorcycle sling, and an air tank for inflating tires and the approved modern safety devices. 3. The Contractor will keep a flatbed truck and loading equipment or other special towing devices to tow vehicles such as wheel loaders. 4. The Contractor shall keep at a minimum two (2) of the above tow trucks as 25-ton or more capacity and one (1) 35-ton. The remaining three (3) trucks as a minimum of one-ton or more capacity.
