The Vendor shall have the Ferric Chloride shipped; freight prepaid, in a bulk truck equipped with a pump, hoses, and needed connections to unload the product at the Salina Wastewater Treatment Plant, 596 North Marymount Road, Salina, Kansas. 4. The estimated total yearly quantity is 1,700,000 pounds. There are two storage tanks at the site, nominal 8,700 gallons capacity each. 5. Each load ordered will be 40,000 to 50,000 pounds (approximately 4,000 to 4,500 gallons) bulk. 6. An SDS, and Certificate of Analysis and Weight certificate for this product will be provided to the City of Salina, Wastewater Treatment Plant with bid documents. These documents shall be updated as necessary throughout the contract year. 7. The Certificate of Analysis must include analysis results for a percentage of Ferric Chloride content, Ferrous Chloride content, Fe content, Specific Gravity, and Free Acid Content, . Product that does not meet these specifications will not be accepted. A. Ferric Chloride: 37% to 42% B. Ferrous Chloride: less than 0.75% C. Iron (Fe): 12.72% to 14.78% D. Specific Gravity: 1.38 – 1.49 E. Free Acid: less than 1.0% F. Insolubles: less than 0.8%
