Specifications include, but are not limited to: he funding for the Natchez Convention Center (Bid Package #2) is a 2022 Convention Center Complex General Obligation Bond Issue. No state and/or federal funds will be used for this renovation project. Work at the convention center will consist of but not be limited to the redesign of the convention center’s first floor primary public spaces including entry lobby at Main Street entrance, public corridor from entry lobby to pre-function area, lobby at corner of Main Street and Canal Street, primary public toilets, pre-function lobby at Canal Street entrance and the second-floor pre-function room at top of grand stairs. The renovation is to include six (6) breakout/ conversation rooms. The new design is to include arched transoms supported by new columns along the primary public corridor defining distinct display seating areas and creating framed wall space for community display opportunities.
