Minimum System Requirements: • Ability to perform focused-beam (a.k.a. Bragg-Brentano) measurements of powders, thin films, and bulk samples over the scan range of 5°-130°, 2-theta • Ability to perform parallel beam and Glancing Incidence (GIXRD) measurements of thin film samples over same scan range • Ability to perform SAXS measurements in transmission mode with all the necessary optics • X-ray beam using Cu source of power > 1 kW • Radiation enclosure and all the necessary safety interlocks must be included with the system • Accessories such as chiller (air cooled), vacuum pump for SAXS (if needed) and all necessary optics to perform X-ray analysis using focused beam, parallel beam, GIXRD and SAXS must be included. • A high-count rate and high-speed detector • A computer needed to run the X-ray Diffractor with a minimum of 32 GB RAM with fast SSD drives and at least a 32-inch monitor. • All the necessary software for data collection, data analysis & interpretation must be provided for the focused beam, parallel beam and SAXS modes. • Installation and applications training at the customer’s site much be included.
