Specifications include, but are not limited to: Waupaca County Highway Department is seeking proposals to furnish propane fuel to its Helvetia Shop for the 2024 - 2025 heating season. The Helvetia Shop is located at E4232 STH 161 about 0.25 miles east of the CTH E and STH 161 intersection. Waupaca County owns three (3) 1,000-gallon propane tanks at the Helvetia Shop; annual purchases are approximately 8,000 to 10,000 gallons of propane fuel per heating season (September through May). The Department expects the propane supplier to monitor fuel supply and to re-fuel the tanks without notification by the Department. (If the supplier needs notification from the Department when fuel is needed, the supplier must make that stipulation in the proposal.) Any additional fees must be noted in comment section.
