Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Perform thermal IR scan of Law Enforcement Center and Courthouse switchboards, panelboards, motor control center disconnects and starters, large distribution disconnects, generator circuit breakers and automatic transfer switches per electrical distribution equipment lists and 2023 NETA MTS testing specifications. Thermal IR scan shall include all components and connections of equipment listed. Site was walked and existing drawings studied to compile the list of equipment. In case any newer electrical items were missed, provide unit thermal IR scan pricing for a panelboard up to 42 circuits, a large distribution disconnect and an automatic transfer switch. Any additional major distribution equipment found shall have a thermal image scan done at the same time as the other equipment on the list. B. Electrical equipment to be inspected shall be energized and under normal load. Equipment shall be inspected to determine any unsafe conditions. If unsafe conditions are found, the unsafe conditions shall be corrected before proceeding with thermal inspection. This may include scheduling a power shutdown of equipment to correct any minor issues. Power is not to be shut off for any equipment without notifying the owner. Any major issues shall be brought to the attention of the owner.
