Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Remove existing polycarbonate plastic bird spikes and dispose of off-site. B. Thoroughly clean by pressure washing, vacuuming, sweeping, blowing, or scraping the area to ensure it is free from any bird droppings or old nesting material. Contain and dispose of the droppings and polluted products off site. C. Wipe down and treat affected areas with MBCD – 10 (microbial bird dropping cleaner). D. Apply pheromone scrub to remove attractants. E. Install new stainless steel metal bird spikes at all previous roosting and nesting locations. F. Contractor shall comply with all legal requirements for the correct disposal of bird waste. All removed materials must be recycled where possible and debris, including packaging material, must be removed off-site. G. Contractor is to ensure all existing surfaces and materials designated are to remain protected from damage. Contractor will also be responsible for the conduct of his/her subcontractors and is solely responsible for repairs of any damaged state property. H. Contractor must field verify all measurements encompassed by the project and is solely responsible for their accuracy. I. Unforeseen conditions shall be reported to the CHP Facility Coordinator immediately and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Replace and automate East gate to sliding twenty feet wide (20’ W) (from curb opposite dispatch) x eight feet high (8’ H), grey privacy link. Install loops, guards, chain, and pedestal keypad at the location determined at bid walk.
