Cut and Removal of Vegetation A. Vegetation Removal Parameters: 1. Dams - Faces on inlet/outlet sides 2. Drainage Parcels – Full width approximately fifty (50) feet from right-of-way 3. Wash Maintenance – Flow line channels B. Tree canopies are to be cut five (5) feet offthe ground. C. Salt cedars, desert broom, palm trees and all dead trees and remaining vegetation found within perimeters are to be cut down to the ground where damage to equipment and vehicle(s) do not occur. D. Remaining stumps are to be treated with “CAPSTONE” (or equivalent) stump killer. Stump grinding may be requested at location is deemed hazardous. E. Native trees and shrubs shall remain but will be maintained as stated in this Scope of Work. These include, but are not limited to: 1. Mesquite, Cottonwood, Palo Verde, Creosote, Willow, Brittlebush, bursage and other native desert plants and Pampass grass. F. Remove water flow impediments, including, but not limited to: sediment buildup (silt & rocks small to large). G. Clean-up where work areas meet roadway edges will be mandatory leaving work site free and clean of any debris.
