To address governance issues within the City of Franklin’s IT infrastructure, the contractor will be responsible to: Manage, monitor, and track information systems, applications, and user accounts. Work with PISCES as they continue to track network traffic and activity. Develop methods for monitoring and auditing network traffic. Enhance the preparation, response, and resilience of systems, applications, and user accounts. Implement a process of continuous cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and threat mitigation practices. Implement multi-factor authentication, migrate to a .gov domain, inventory and document software and hardware that are accessible from the internet and create a plan for items that are unsupported and/or are at the end of life and develop a policy and procedure for passwords. Promote the delivery of safe, recognizable, and trustworthy online services and use a .gov internet domain. Conduct tabletop exercises to ensure plans are properly in place and will ensure continuity of operations in the event of a disaster. Develop policies and written procedures that will ensure the continuity of communications and data networks in the event of an incident. Assess and mitigate, to the greatest degree possible, cybersecurity risks and threats as they relate to critical infrastructure and key resources. Develop and coordinate strategies to address cybersecurity risks and threats.
