Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful bidder(s) for a hatchery (BID PROPOSAL FORM A) must accept all carcasses that the Department makes available for sale at that hatchery. The Department will notify each successful bidder when salmon carcasses become available. Once notification is given, the salmon carcasses become the property of that bidder and, as such, the bidder shall be responsible for pickup. The times, which may include weekends and holidays, when the carcasses are to be made available to the successful buyer, will be determined by the hatchery manager. Department personnel will not be available for assistance in loading carcasses after the normal workday has been completed. Any unclaimed salmon carcasses may be disposed of in any manner deemed appropriate by the Department after twenty-four (24) hours of notification; the successful bidder shall be liable to the Department for any difference between the value received upon disposal and the buyer's bid price. Successful bidder must furnish adequate, clean containers when picking up carcasses.
