The project is located on Journeys End in Mendon at the end of the pavement to the end of the road and intersection of 5 driveways, approximate project length .22 miles. The installation of erosion control measures is phase A of the project and is partially funded by a Better Roads Program Grant. Expenses must be kept separate and submitted in accordance with the grant requirements. The scope of work of phase A will include excavation and installation of catch basin, cross culvert, driveway culverts, subbase gravel, excavate rock lined ditch & establish grass lined ditch, traffic control, seed, topsoil, mulch, mobilization and demobilization of material and equipment. Phase B will consist of reconstruction of the roadway to include excavation, installation and compaction of road bed state spec material and paving.
