Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board requires the services of a qualified investigator who can perform investigations of complaints received about persons who may have violated the Board’s rules and regulations. Duties will include interviewing parties and witnesses, obtaining and reviewing documents related to geologists who are the subject of the complaints, inspecting court records and documents, submitting written investigative reports and compiling case files to present to the Board and its subcommittee, and providing testimony for administrative hearings. Strong familiarization with the licensure laws administered by the Kentucky Board of Registration for Professional Geologists including KRS Chapter 322A is strongly desired.
