The vendor shall provide licensed, qualified personnel to remove and replace and/or construct replace sidewalk, stormwater structures, road resurfacing, and retaining walls according to the specifications and conditions: A. Sidewalk Repair • Remove and replace 190ft of 5 ft sidewalk and header curb • Prepare sub-base and framework necessary. • Pour and finish new concrete to match existing sidewalk specifications. • Add 2 ADA compliant ramps with truncated domes • Remove and replace driveway apron • Replace existing fire hydrant with 5.25 M&H, make sure this includes exposed valve riser/lid B. Handrail • Remove and replace existing handrail with 50LF by 36inch ADA compliant metal handrail C. Stormwater Pipe Rehabilitation • Remove and replace existing brick storm structure with 4ft precast structure • Include hood, grate and frame. • Remove and replace existing header curb at the storm structure appr. 20feet • Inspect stormwater pipe for defects and cleaning requirements. D. Road Resurfacing • Remove and replace 190LF of roadway, this will require no less than 190lf of 4inch base repair (12.5mm) • Remove and replace sanitary sewer frames and lids. Traffic rated frames and lids shall be placed over existing manholes, Level to match finish grade. • All water/gas valve risers shall be adjusted to grade or replaced if necessary. Risers, if necessary, shall be supplied and installed by the contractor. • All striping will require thermos plastic striping • Temporary striping is required within 24 hours of paving.
