Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Work covered by this section includes the furnishing of labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of the fire alarm system, including initiating devices, notification appliances, controls, and supervisory devices to meet code requirements. 2. It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe the requirements for the scheduled maintenance of the fire alarm system devices (fire control panel, voice evacuation controller, annunciator, duct detectors, heats and pull stations) within the Colonnade building. 3. The system shall consist of all necessary hardware equipment and software programming to perform the following functions: a. Fire Alarm and detection operations; b. Smoke control equipment; c. Fire suppression systems; d. Emergency power systems (as applicable); 4. The equipment and services in this RFP will have new as well as reusable equipment.
