Specifications include, but are not limited to: As part of the District’s work to implement its new approach to accountability as codified in the Continuous Improvement and Data Transparency policy (CIDT), the District is seeking external support to help stakeholders make the transition from past practice to full implementation of the District’s new approach. As outlined in this presentation, the District has an intensive process to partner with stakeholders to develop reporting indicators and validate the measurement and reporting of school and District data. However, once the information is available to stakeholders (i.e., all who have an interest in the quality of public education in Chicago - students, families, community members, teachers, school leaders, etc.), they will need a great deal of support in improving their interpretation and use of the information. This kind of professional and stakeholder learning at scale is beyond the existing capacity of the District, hence the need for external support.
