To provide a Commercial Heavy-Duty Tractor/Bobcat Truck with capacity to carry a minimum 48 foot dry-van or flatbed trailer. Equipment purpose will be for training prospective Commercial Delivery Licensed (CDL)- students to operate vehicles with a gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds or more. No loads or freight will be carried as equipment is for training new drivers only. We are requesting proposals for 2016 or newer models to include Freightliner, Volvo, Kenworth, Mack, International Peterbilt. A maximum 10-speed, manual transmission model is requested in a sleeper cab. (Sleeper models should be considered for the manual transmission). All proposed trucks should have full size wheels and tires, interior power locks, windows, air conditioning and heating, air ride seating. Back up cameras are optional. After-market warranty to include planned maintenance is desired.
