The SEHP is seeking a Vendor to perform the following functions: Prepare and present financial reports and provide consulting services to the Kansas State Employees Health Care Commission. Develop actuarial estimates of plan expenses and provide monthly financial statements that include a comparison of projected vs. actual expenses. Provide consulting services to the Health Care Commission; provide comparative analysis of programs and plan designs for similar entities; perform financial forecasting and modeling; respond to requests for special reports from time to time. Consult on plan design, benefits, and review of plan documents. Provide information and assistance on plan compliance with state and federal laws and updates on evolving compliance topics. Work collaboratively with the Plan’s Data and Finance team and provide financial analysis as requested by the health plan staff. Perform actuarial assessments for employer (State and Non State) and employee contributions for the various components of the State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) Assist in the evaluation of SEHP programs and renewal options. Consult on Request for Proposals for medical, pharmacy, dental, and other RFPs if asked and assist with drafting and reviewing RFPs as needed.
