Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this eRFP, pending funding for fiscal year 2025, is to procure Internet Services for the campus residential network. The State Entity currently has 7 residence halls housing approximately 2300 student residents. The residence halls are currently allotted 2Gbps of campus bandwidth, which is used to near capacity from 12:00pm until 12:00am. VSU is seeking 5Gbps of symmetrical bandwidth with provider handoffs in primary and secondary locations for redundancy; 24x7 monitoring and support; caching services for frequently accessed data; QoS and prioritization for SIP protocol and TTY devices; adequate IP addresses to support a /22 network. Valdosta State University will not pay for vendor build out, equipment, or setup costs. VSU’s current contract expires August 19, 2024
