Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project Specifications Due to the age and environmental effects, the slides are in need of restoration. Project specifications are as follows: a) Make all necessary fiberglass repairs within ride path with vinyl-ester resin. b) Use gel coat to refinish interior ride path with application of no less than 20 – 24 mils thickness. c) Premium gel coat must be used. d) Add textured surfacing to start tubs of slides (area where patrons step onto actual slide). e) Use premium caulk to caulk all seams. f) Base white gelcoat should be used unless otherwise specified. g) Clean, Polish and Wax closed flume sections. h) Wash exterior of slide with internally formulated cleaner. i) Prime-coat exterior’s bare areas. j) Paint exterior with Poly-Siloxane Paint. k) Tighten or replace exterior bolts.
