Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.2.1 Project Information. 2.2.1.1 The Project: Staten Island Esplanade Emergency Bulkhead Repair 2.2.1.2 The Project Site: St George Esplanade, St George Staten Island, 10301 2.2.1.3 Type of Services: Construction Management and other Consultant Services (the “Services”), as more specifically described in the Scope of Services (Appendix B of the Contract Draft) 2.2.2 The Consultant: 2.2.2.1 Type: Construction Manager 2.2.2.2 The Consultant Team: It is anticipated that the Consultant will lead a team of consultants (collectively, with the Consultant, the “Consultant Team”) in providing the Services. The members of the Consultant’s staff and/or the Consultant’s Subcontractors on the Consultant Team are expected to include, without limitation, the following: 2.2.2.2.1 Required Consultant Team Members. Respondents shall include resumes for these positions or equivalents as well as rates in the Respondent’s proposal: (1) Sr. Project Manager / Project Executive: This position is the primary point of contact for this Contract and the leader of the Consultant Team and shall be a Principal or authorized officer. This position will be required to oversee the Project . This position should have the authority to sign approval letters, recommendations letters, and other documents including the Contract and any subsequent amendments that may be required to carry out the day to day business of the Contract. Additionally, this individual should have authority to make staffing decisions. It is expected that only one (1) position at this level is required. (2) Construction Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers or equivalent: These positions are construction professionals that manage individual Project Assignments as assigned. This may include, but is not limited to, RFP development, procurement, budget tracking, problem resolution, schedule production and management including delay analysis, construction monitoring, management of construction activity work plan, preparation of technical reports and managing the resolution of construction-oriented field problems, risk identification and mitigation, change order tracking and negotiations, permit reviews and other typical construction project tasks. This position shall have familiarity with all Applicable Requirements. Depending on the size and/or complexity of each Project Assignment one (1) or two (2) of these positions of varying seniority will be assigned to each Project Assignment. Respondents shall include at least three (3) or more resumes for this role in the proposal. (3) Construction Field Supervisors, NYS Licensed Resident Engineers, DOB Licensed Site Safety Managers, DOB Licensed Site Safety Coordinators, DOB Licensed Construction Superintendents or equivalent: This position is for a supervisor with the experience to manage a project in the field. This includes quality assurance (project to be installed as designed and specified), safety program implementation and monitoring, schedule compliance, site logistics, special/controlled inspections coordination, progress reporting and resource tracking.
