The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract to construct a new unit office facility in Newport to replace the aging Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) facility in Toledo. The project will include the demolition of an existing facility on the site, site work, including street utility improvements, and the construction of a new joint use facility with the City of Newport fire department. The project encompasses new driveways, parking lots, and vehicle yards, and construction of a 2-level building that is partially recessed into the topography, with the basement level including approximately 2,171sf of unconditioned warehouse / vehicle storage, 4,325sf of conditioned warehouse / vehicle storage, and a 195sf unconditioned gas house, and the upper level including approximately 3,428sf of conditioned administrative space, 294sf of unconditioned spaces, and 2,174sf of conditioned crew quarters, plus a detached gas/oil building.
