Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Furnish all materials, equipment, labor and related items as required to complete the extent of isolated building structure demolition, partial interior demolition, partial site demolition and all other removal work as required, shown on the drawings and herein specified. B. Work of this section shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, demolition and/or removal of the following existing elements within the project limits: 1.3 SITE CONDITIONS AND SALVAGED ITEMS A. Conditions existing at time of inspection for bidding purposes will be maintained by the Owner insofar as practicable. However, variations within structure may occur by Owner's removal and salvage operations prior to start of demolition work. B. Items of salvageable value to the Contractor may be removed from the site as work progresses. Salvaged items must be transported from site as they are removed. C. Storage or sale of removed items on-site is strictly prohibited. D. Use of explosives in any form or strength is strictly prohibited. E. Conduct demolition operations and removal of debris to ensure minimum interference with roads, streets, walks and other adjacent occupied or used facilities. F. Do not close or obstruct streets, walks or other occupied or used facilities without permission from authorities having jurisdiction. Provide alternate routes around closed or obstructed traffic ways where and if required by governing regulations.
