Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to appropriately prepare and plant the areas described herein. 4.1.1 Drum chop approximately 100 acres (see attachment B). 4.1.2 Procure seedlings for replanting approximately 260 acres (see attachment A). 4.1.2.1 Seedlings must containerized with a 6-inch root ball. 4.1.2.2 Estimated 86,100 Loblolly Pine seedlings (Estimated at 605 – 615 seedlings per acre). Vendor shall verify count. 4.1.2.3 Estimated 73,800 Longleaf Pine seedlings (estimated at 605 – 615 seedlings per acre). Vendor shall verify count. 4.1.3 Planting of seedlings. 4.1.3.1 All seedlings shall be hand-planted in a 6’ x 12’ pattern. 4.1.3.2 Seedlings shall be planted between November 15th, 2024 and February 29th, 2025. 4.1.3.3 Loblolly Pine shall be planted over approximately 140 acres as designated in the attached maps (see attachment C). Approximately 615 Loblolly seedlings. 4.1.3.4 Longleaf Pine shall be planted over approximately 120 acres as designated in the attached map (see attachment C). Approximately 615 Longleaf seedlings.
