Specifications include, but are not limited to: Expected recruitment service categories would include, but not be limited to: University Presidents, College Deans, Athletic Directors, Coaches, Commissioner/Deputy Commissioners of Higher Education, etc. Search process will be coordinated with the search firm’s applicant tracking system. Develop and schedule a process for the search, in conjunction with the search committee; Provide search committee training including key elements of a professional, high-level academic search; Consult with the search committee and its chair as requested and as needed through the duration of the search to its scheduled conclusion. Develop and prepare, in conjunction with the search committee, the prospectus or position profile, advertisement, search web page, and other search related items for this position; Identify and cultivate qualified candidates within a strategic scope as identified and guided by the search committee; Develop an efficient screening procedure to narrow the candidate pool to a small group of semi-finalists in consultation with the search committee; Collaborate with the search committee in developing and handling intermediate evaluations, primarily through airport or telephone interviews of semi-finalists, as the search committee deems appropriate; Assist the search committee in evaluating the candidates, including providing guidance relative to the applicants’ experience, qualifications, work performance and professional reputation; Provide in-depth evaluations, as requested, of the final candidates; Manage and conduct necessary administrative search services, such as provision of a protected website for the process and organization of interviews; travel and financial reimbursement for candidates. Engage in visits to the campus or elsewhere of a frequency sufficient to further the search process as determined by MUS Official; Please note that while the above is representative of a typical executive search, not all services will be required on every search and there may be situations in which more extensive services are required. Therefore, each recruitment effort will be negotiated with one or more contracted vendors.
