Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Planning, Architectural and Interior Design Services IDIQ Contract Statement of Need Georgia Tech requires the services of Planning, Architectural, and Interior Design firms (Consultant) to supplement its in-house planning and design capabilities to provide campus and unit planning; feasibility studies; space programming; space data synthesis and analysis; architectural services; and interior design services for planning and small renovation projects involving professionally registered design professionals. This category includes support consulting services to plan, design new or renovated academic, administrative, student life, and athletic facilities environments in existing Georgia Tech buildings. The Georgia Tech Office of Planning, Design, and Construction (OPDC) may provide the Consultant a program, scope of work, budget for construction, and preliminary floor plans for the project work area. The consultant will prepare and deliver to OPDC, campus and unit plans; feasibility studies; space programs; space data synthesis and analysis; architectural and interior designs with supporting engineering narratives, concept or schematic plans, or construction documents as well as provide construction administration services. The consultant will assemble a comprehensive team that includes architectural, interior design, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Additional consultants may be required for a specific project. Design of information technology, audio visual, and network systems may be performed in-house by Georgia Tech and integrated by the Consultant into the construction documents. To this end, Consultants will be chosen for a one-year term, with the possibility of (2), oneyear renewals, to be open-ended service providers. This Consultant will be on call to provide consultation and design services on an as-needed basis. Typically, work required may be a part of a larger renovation project or may be the primary goal of the project.
