Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is an invitation to submit a bid to Lamar County for the 2024 Guardrail Replacement PROJECT ( For select locations on Zebulon Road and Old GA 41) as indicated herein. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Chairman (in Lamar County Administration Building at the above address) up to 2:00 p.m., August 2, 2024, when they will be opened and publicly read. This project will be funded with 2024 LMIG and SPLOST funds. The Project Site 1 is located on Zebulon Road along the bridge approaches approximately 2.91 miles south of SR 41 and 1.89 miles north of SR 18. The existing guardrail was structurally compromised and identified for complete replacement. All existing guardrail at the site is in place with no apparent anchorages. The Project Site 2 is located on Old GA-41 along the bridge approaches over the Railroad tracks near Yancy Road approximately 2.62 miles north of SR 41 and 6.08 miles south of SR 16. The existing guardrail was structurally compromised and identified for complete replacement. All existing guardrail at the site is in place with no apparent anchorages.
