Consultant services to design rehabilitations for numerous bridge decks across the state. Rehabilitation work may include repair or replacement of bridge decks. The Consultant will be responsible for all activities necessary to complete the work and may include any or all of the work included in MDT’s Consultant Design Activity Descriptions. An appropriate level of evaluation and analysis for each bridge deck is expected to confirm the recommended rehabilitative option. It is anticipated that the consultant will customize this analysis work specific to each bridge. Maintenance of traffic, work zone safety, and communication to the public and stakeholders will be critical considerations during the analysis and design stage. Responses to this RFP should include a discussion of strategy to address this challenge.
