Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Participation in up to seven (7) meetings: 1) project kickoff with local steering committee; 2) Local Concerns Public Meeting #1; 3) alternatives development input meeting with local steering committee; 4) Alternatives Analysis Public Meeting #2; 5) draft report submission review with local steering committee; 6) Draft Report Public Meeting #3; and 7) Final Report Public Meeting #4. Project meetings with the local steering committee may be via online software platforms though in-person attendance is preferred for any meetings with the public. 2. At the Project Kickoff meeting, the Consultant will meet with the local steering committee to develop a clear understanding of the project goals, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. 3. Analysis to evaluate at least four alternatives: 1) No action; 2) buyouts/easements; 3) floodplain restoration; and 4) sediment management. The analysis will include evaluation of potential impacts of each of these alternatives on developed and undeveloped properties, transportation infrastructure, and identify access easements and buyouts (as needed).
