Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro Nashville Public Schools is seeking to partner with an accredited Educator Preparation Provider (EPPs) to establish an English Learner teacher licensure program. The goal of this program is to create job-embedded placements for licensure candidates. These candidates should receive EL endorsement license status and fill current vacancies to support the district's EL student population. While the scope of work described in this RFP is specific to the current requested needs, any resulting contract from this RFP can also be used by any other MNPS School or Department to cover the provision of an EL Licensure Program that meets the requirements of this RFP. Any awarded contract will be for a 5-year term. This vendor must be able to: * Support 50-60 teachers per year in job embedded placements for each cycle of the contract * Licensure coursework through an accredited licensure program * Weekly job embedded coaching and/or teaching support (including but not limited to instructional strategies and co-teaching support) * Teachers must pass the EL Praxis certification test
