Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project involves the replacement of (4) cooling towers and associated pumps, controls, and support equipment. The towers that are being replaced include (2) that serve the West side and (2) that serve the East side of the facility. ALTERNATE No. 1: Shall include all work associated with the replacement of the (2) West side cooling towers CT-1W, and CT2W. This shall also include the replacement of (2) condensing pumps PCDW-1W & PCDW-2W the three condensing pumps PCDW1W, PCDW-2W and PCDW-3W. This shall also include new piping to a common header. ALTERNATE No. 2: Shall include the addition of a backup pump, PCDW-3E, and air separator, AS-3E, for East side cooling towers. This shall also include new piping to include a common header.
