Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of Contract The Kentucky State Fair Board issues this solicitation to establish a Master Agreement for one year with an option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods for: Carpet Cleaning for Kentucky State Fair Board (KSFB) at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) and the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC). Carpet is commercial grade Broadloom throughout both facilities, different patterns/colors. All carpet cleaning should include: Dry soil removal, Soil suspension, soil extraction, grooming and include industrial standard drying. Carpet Cleaning for KY Venues Facilities Removal of allergy-causing contaminants and dust mites using deep-down extraction, and follow manufacturers' recommendations and warranty requirements. Vendor must provide special attention to high traffic areas and remove ground-in dirt and stains. Pre-spotting should include: Chemicals used in spot removal to be proven low emitters of volatile organic compounds in the indoor environment. Proven to leave minimal amounts of residue on the fiber of the carpet. Gum and Sticker removal from Carpet(s) Cleaning of both facilities will be on an AS NEEDED basis. Agency shall give vendor one (1) or more week prior notice for date(s) of service. All cleaning services to be performed following the industry-standard IICRC. It is required that an IIRCRC (Institution of Inspection and Cleaning Restoration Certification) certified technician be on site during each job.
