The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on behalf of the Engineering Department and Public Works Department, is accepting bids for work to be performed as described in the scope of work is to provide labor and materials to remove and replace or to install new sidewalks, ADA ramps, curb and gutter sections and other incidental work required. The work is located in a number of areas in the City and along designated streets. The following specifications describe the minimum requirements for this project. Traffic control, safety measures, homeowner coordination, and property restoration are critical elements of the project. The largest component of this contract is approximately 20,000 sq ft of sidewalk construction. These sidewalk sections will be located in three (3) areas of the City. The first includes a portion of the downtown and Convention Center area and includes portions along the following streets: Central Avenue, Exchange Street, Olive Street, Spring Street, Opera Street, Civic Street, Laurel Street, and Palm Street. The second area is along Valley Street. The third area includes portions along 3rd Street, Bell Street, Oaklawn Street, and Alpine Street. A chart of quantities for each section is provided in the plan set but all street section quantities are combined in the bid schedule quantities.
