The Treasurer of the State of California serves as registrar and paying agent for certain bonds issued by the State of California (“State”) and agencies of the State. The State Treasurer’s Office (“STO”) requests the services of a fiscal agent to provide the registrar and paying agent services described in this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for previously issued bearer and fully registered bonds (“Bonds”) maturing on or after January 1, 2007. Fiscal agent services are not being sought for bonds serviced by the State held in book-entry form with the Depository Trust Company (“DTC”). The State does not expect to issue additional bonds for which fiscal agent services will be required. The fiscal agent will perform the required services related to various issues of the following types of bonds: General Obligation Bonds, State Public Works Board Lease Revenue Bonds, Department of Water Resources Revenue Bonds, and California Housing Finance Agency Housing Revenue Bonds.
