The City of La Verne (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors with the experience, expertise and qualifications to provide city-wide network connectivity for a video management system (VMS) and potentially remote traffic management access via the network. The scope of work will include the provision of all equipment and professional services necessary to successfully complete the replacement of the City’s current VMS, including as-needed camera replacement, infrastructure addition/replacement, and as-required related professional services such as implementation, installation, training, maintenance, and support of all cameras, connectivity, and VMS components. The City has historically had a decentralized approach to purchasing VMS. As a result, the City’s current and disparate VMS solutions vary greatly in age and type, and there is no centralized or standard city-wide solution.
