Specifications include, but are not limited to: Debris Removal Litter and trash including leaves, rubbish, papers, bottles, cans, and other debris should be removed from all areas including curbs, gutters and sidewalks on a minimum of once a week basis. All refuse from the maintenance operation will be properly disposed of off the property Turf Maintenance Mowing All turf areas are to be mowed with power-propelled reel or rotary-type mowers. Mowers shall be maintained to provide a smooth even cut. The Bidder shall remove all papers, rubbish or debris from turf prior to mowing. All mowers shall be cleaned prior to each mowing to avoid possible weed invasion. Mowing shall be scheduled on the same day of each week. Mowing to be performed so that no more than one-third of the grass blade is removed - returning the grass to an acceptable height for grass species. Turf shall be mowed weekly during the growing season and at other times as needed. Mowing patterns shall be alternated each week to avoid creating ruts and compaction.
