It is the intent of these specifications, terms and conditions to describe the Religious Services Program being requested by the Alameda County Probation Department (ACPD). ACPD recognizes the critical and diverse spiritual needs of juvenile and adult (transition-age youth) clients and staff, and seeks to fill those needs with chaplaincy and worship services; religious programs; scripture study and educational courses; one-on-one counseling; distribution of religious materials; prayer and worship services; coordination of faith-based ceremonies, special events and activities; recognition of religious holidays; and any other non-denominational services as needed. The successful bidder will need to coordinate, facilitate, and ensure effective implementation of spiritual services as requested from clients and staff.
