The goal of the Structured Sports Program for Recess and Lunch for Elementary and K-8 Schools is to provide STEM aligned structured Sports Games and activities to students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade at Eleven schools in the Inglewood Unified School District. Our mission is to see every child develop improved health and wellness through a variety of physical fitness options in a structured supervised environment. We strive to provide a program that allows all children to connect with performing arts and health in an exciting and enjoyable manner. The goal is for all students to experience new programs that will help keep students engaged, focused, and increase academic achievement in their educational journey. The goal is to provide students an opportunity to access physical fitness through a structured sports program for recess and lunch at elementary and K-8 schools. The goals are to assist and mentor all students and provide structured physical fitness lesson plans to help youth accomplish learning STEM educational concepts at each school site.
