Specifications include, but are not limited to: BI-WEEKLY SERVICES - 1. Test the cooling tower condenser water for pH. Supply and administer chemicals necessary to maintain a level of 7.5 pH. 2. Test the cooling tower condenser water for micromhos of conductivity. Program the cooling tower Chemical Controller for sufficient bleed from the condenser water bleed valve to maintain 5000 micromhos. 3. Test the cooling tower condenser water with dip slides to verify no presence of bacteria. Supply and administer biocide chemicals necessary to remove presence of bacteria. 4. Test the cooling tower condenser water for phosphate inhibitors. Supply and dispense sufficient phosphate inhibitors to maintain a range of 12 to 15 parts per million (ppm) of phosphate. 5. Test the cooling tower condenser water for ppm’s of hardness. Program the cooling tower chemical controller to open the condenser water bleed valve to maintain the hardness under 1200 ppm hardness. 6.
