Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Unified Government is seeking to enter into a term and supply contract with one or more sanitary and storm sewer collection system construction firms to provide on-call, planned, and emergency construction work on wastewater and stormwater collection system infrastructure. This contract will be used to conduct construction work when the Unified Government determines it is more cost-effective than the normal design-bid-build construction process or when the work must be expedited. The scope of work for each project will be to repair, rehabilitate, replace, or mitigate a defect or failure in the collection system and fully restore the work site to equal or better condition. Occasionally, the work will be in response to wastewater and stormwater collection system failures requiring an immediate response to minimize property loss or environmental damage; this work is generally expected to be of short duration. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and appurtenances necessary to perform routine and emergency work authorized under this contract.
