The proposed improvements are as follows: The City of Mesa's Northwest Water Reclamation Plant (NWWRP) is an end of the line wastewater treatment plant that currently processes approximately 8 million gallons per day (MGD) of waste water flow. The solids treatment process is rated for 18 MGD. Some of the solids stream processing equipment is nearing the end of their service life. The selected consultant will conduct a comprehensive condition assessment of existing equipment and prepare a Design Concept Report (DCR). This report will analyze the condition of various components including centrifuges, grinders, feed pumps, and mixers; evaluate alternatives; and make final recommendations. The consultant will also develop a basis of design that may include schematic level drawings and technical specifications. City may include other miscellaneous improvements at the Site, as needed.
