Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department and Fire Department (Departments) seek proposals from qualified biological consultants (Consultant) to support the City of Santa Barbara Wildfire Resiliency Project. The Project consists of 23 City-owned open spaces: Parma Park, Honda Valley Park, Elings Park, Hale Park, Franceschi Park, Stevens Park, Douglas Family Preserve, Rattlesnake Canyon trail corridor, Cold Spring trail easement / Gould Park, Jesusita trail corridor, Hidden Valley Park, Laurel Canyon Park, Skofield Park, Equestrian Circle, La Mesa Park, Sheffield Reservoir, Arroyo Burro Open Space, Barger Canyon Preserve, Loma Media Park, Orpet Park, Sylvan Park, Mission Ruins Historical Park, and Hilda Ray Park (Figure 1). The primary goal of the Project is to implement a comprehensive and sustainable approach to open space management and fuels reduction in the High Fire Hazard Areas of the City, in accordance with the objectives stated in the CWPP.
