Specifications include, but are not limited to: VENDOR(S) REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: a. The Vendor will enter into a lease agreement if their proposal is selected, and said Vendor will serve as the authorized representative to ensure all requirements and regulations of the lease are met. b. The Vendor will sign and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth in section 7(b) of the lease agreement for the appropriate Library location. c. The Vendor will obtain and maintain the appropriate business licenses for Salt Lake City, and provide copies to the Library prior to occupancy. d. The Vendor and all Vendor staff will obtain and maintain a food handlers permit from the State of Utah Health Department, and provide copies to the Library prior to occupancy. e. The Vendor will maintain all insurance requirements provided in the lease agreement throughout the entirety of the lease agreement and provide copies to the Library. f. The Vendor will staff the space appropriately. g. The Vendor will be required to apply for and pay directly all taxes and fees in respect of the Vendor’s occupancy of the premises (such as operating permits, food and beverage permits, cost of inspections, insurance, telephone, and point of sale systems). h. The Vendor is required to maintain the grease receptor. i. The Vendor is required and agrees to abide by Library policies and all applicable local, state and federal laws and understands that the rules and regulations and this RFP is not a complete list of all policies or laws, and it is the Vendor's responsibility to obtain a copy of all applicable policies and/or laws. 1. LIBRARY REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: a. The Library will provide a retail space for the Vendor to lease. b. The Library will provide a lease agreement. c. The Library will provide access to the building based on the hours negotiated in the lease agreement. d. The Library will address maintenance issues or make repairs to equipment/fixtures provided by the Library, including rough plumbing and electrical connections that service the space. e. The Library will provide safety support for the Library branch, patrons and staff during hours of operation. f. The Library will provide the following within the cafe space for lease: i. One (1) Electrical 208V/single phase 20 amp power. If the Vendor requires other than what is provided, any additional costs related to such requirements shall be paid by said Vendor ii. A three (3) compartment sink/grease receptor iii. One (1) hand washing sink iv. One (1) Wall-Mounted whiteboard v. Two (2) mini refrigerators vi. Chairs, tables and booths for library and customer seating
