Specifications include, but are not limited to: Currently, USDC requires a comprehensive strategic plan covering 5, 10, and 15+ years. This plan should include a thorough study to develop, research and evaluate relevant analytical data, identify current and future programmatic and therapeutic needs and services for individuals with disabilities, assess existing facilities and their layout for adequate therapeutic space, and make recommendations for current and future facility needs and services. Additionally, the plan should provide a vision for potential campus and building expansion on the northern part of the USDC property adjacent to the existing campus. The USDC Strategic Plan will guide decisions on facility improvements and new expansions, meeting USDC’s space requirements, and justifying state-funded agency space improvements and capital development requests.
