Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design tasks include (but not limited to): • Initial landowner contact and outreach – documentation of dates of contact • For interested landowners – Complete landowner interview document to obtain information about flooding history and current and previous land management practice, etc. • Develop preliminary project design elements – Site plan with preliminary River Corridor Easement boundaries; locations of areas of possible conflict and/or landowner need, locations of possible restoration/enhancement projects, locations of possible wetlands, stream crossing, and other features of interest (if applicable) • Arrange site visits the State (DEC river scientist and wetland scientist, where applicable) and other partners, and • Where landowner interest to move forward towards RCE implementation o Landowner commitment letter o Refine project design details with the State (DEC River Scientist) o For project to be co-held – Town approval letter o Draft documents of agreements developed for landowner review
